What it does
Grasshopper plugin from ETH Zurich for real-time simplified whole-building LCA in early design. It links geometry to Swiss KBOB material data and reports embodied GWP, primary energy and eco-points, either top-down at building level or bottom-up at component level.
What it can calculate
- Global Warming Potential (kgCO2eq)
- Non-renewable primary energy (PENRE)
- Swiss eco-points (UBP)
- Embodied impacts at building, element and component level (Swiss KBOB database)
Status
Bombyx 2.1.0 released 2023-11-29 (food4rhino); no newer release found. Open source per ETH page; exact license text not verified.
