Challenge
Logistics sites take large urban areas but give little back. Roofs, edges and leftover spaces can become parks, plazas or community rooms — if access, safety and operations are designed together.
Design questions
- How much of the site can be opened to the public?
- Will the public spaces actually be used?
- What do local communities gain?
Where are the metrics, tools and case studies?
They appear automatically below under Connections, and in Obsidian under the
auto_properties.
Connections
- Case studies: Khrystyna Verbitska, Marek Nový, Natalie Žižková, Roshni Basu, Thomas Olsen
- Metrics: Green area ratio, Green space per visitor, Green-core anchoring of mixed uses, Mixed-use ratio, Publicly accessible area, Social interaction index
- Tools (via metrics): Grasshopper, Lands Design
