Challenge
Roofs, yards and parking make logistics sites almost fully sealed. Rainwater runs off quickly, overloading drainage and missing the chance to cool, irrigate and recharge groundwater.
Design questions
- How much of the site is sealed?
- How much rainwater can be retained and reused on site?
- How much does runoff decrease compared with today?
Where are the metrics, tools and case studies?
They appear automatically below under Connections, and in Obsidian under the
auto_properties.
Connections
- Case studies: Adam Večeřa, Aycha Chambashala, Ece Yasar, Hynek Hrabík, Ilinca Maria Baciu, Marek Nový, Natalie Žižková
- Metrics: Biotope area factor, Function stacking index, Green roof coverage, Impervious surface ratio, Parking capacity, Stormwater retention volume, Stormwater runoff reduction, Water reuse share, Yard area per dock
- Tools (via metrics): AutoTURN, Grasshopper, Rainflow-Sim
