Challenge
Logistics buildings are usually isolated, mono-functional boxes behind fences. As e-commerce brings them closer to cities, the challenge is to make them good neighbours: connected to streets and green networks, mixed with other uses, and accepted by residents.
Design questions
- How far are logistics functions from homes, and how is the edge between them designed?
- Which other uses can share the building or site?
- Can people walk through or around the site safely?
Where are the metrics, tools and case studies?
They appear automatically below under Connections, and in Obsidian under the
auto_properties.
